Compost Demonstration at Terranova School

Friday morning Paul, Luke, Brent Roberts and Brent Svor went to Terranova School on the neighboring coffee farm. As we have shared before we are developing an agricultural program at this school based upon a discipleship course from Foundations for Farming. The guys started by sharing some scripture and then explained how to construct a compost heap. For most rural farmers fertilizer is too expensive for utilization in their fields so compost represents a natural and much more cost effective alternative in achieving better harvests.  The core of the lesson was focused on realizing that God is the giver of good gifts………even compost.
