Chik Tea!
This is our second month to have the village ladies come for tea and cake! It's great to recognize their faces as we pass them on the farm and get a nice smile and wave! It's all about relationship building and that takes time but I think we are off to a great start!
Today Kerri and I talked to the ladies about fear! They shared specific areas of fear that they struggle with like: death, bad dreams, sickness, snakes, husbands finding a girlfriend, accidents and witch craft. We shared 2Tim 1:7 "I do not have the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind." We talked about who fear comes from and how we fight it! It was encouraging to hear their discussion and desire to know more about God and his word! They had some great questions and topics that they want us to talk about in the months ahead! Kerri and I are looking forward to see how God works in this simple tea time and we are so thankful for this farm and opportunity to grow with these ladies! Please continue to pray for this time and these precious Tonga women!

The Joys of Africa
I think our big dogs are getting used to having our puppy around! During the rainy season there are all sorts of creatures that come out! One in particular popped out of our dog Max!
This is the larva of a putsi fly that I squeezed out of our dogs leg today! The dogs lay in the wet grass or mat where these flies lay their larva during rainy season! This is one reason a good dryer is needed so we don't get them on our damp clothes or towels! So far only the dogs have gotten them thank goodness!
